1. Smeg BCC02
This sleek, compact, and striking machine, designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design combines the brand's retro style with cutting edge technology. It handles every step of the coffee-making process - from grinding beans and shaping them into a puck, to making milk into a texturing process and dispenses the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can make high-quality barista hot drinks at the touch of the button.
The machine is also available in black, red and taupe. It can easily integrate into any kitchen design. The machine is not without flaws however. Many reviewers felt that it was quite expensive for a cup to bean to cup espresso coffee machine maker (and isn't equipped with the milk pitcher).
There were also many glowing reviews about the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of using this machine. The user-friendly digital display offers the step-by-step instructions and feedback throughout the coffee making process, helping you make your drink perfect each time. The machine even allows you to adjust the grind size, in case that's not what you want. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Harry Potter's invisibility cloak and Elon Musk's rocket-building expertise).
This model is perfect for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand can be adjusted upwards and downwards so that it fits most drinking vessels, with the exception of Viking drinking horns. We were awestruck by the speed and efficiency of the frothing process, too. It also produces an excellent espresso, with a fantastic crema and full flavor despite its compact size.
The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and offers great value for money at a price that is currently PS499. The only drawback is that it doesn't offer the same level of customisation like some of the other bean to cup models we've evaluated. It has a pump that has 15 bars instead of the standard 19 bars. This is not as effective for making high-quality espressos. Other than that it's a great bean-to-cup machine for those who prefer their coffee bean to cup machines strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart is a top bean-to-cup machine that has many features that make it stand above the rest. Its most distinctive feature is that it is controlled from your smartphone through the Melitta Connect app. This allows you to change the settings and also to dispense different coffee recipes stored inside the machine.
This makes the machine flexible and adaptable to suit your preferences. There are a variety of options to alter the intensity of your drinks, as well as different sizes of cups, and whether or not you want to add milk. The machine has two airtight containers of beans that are automatically selected to match different types of drinks. It defaults to standard espresso beans in one and cafe crem (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you are able to select whatever beans you like. There is also a chute that can be used for beans that are already ground if you prefer to use your own.
Users have also reported being impressed by the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they have ever used. Another benefit is that it will alert you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, ensuring that you don't get caught out by running out of your favourite beverage.
The only thing that could be a problem for some people is the price tag. It's not inexpensive, with prices that are close to PS999. It is still cheaper than similar Jura machines that have similar features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed by a generous warranty, offering two years of protection. This is longer than the standard one-year guarantee, so it is a great sign of confidence from the manufacturer. The machine includes an cleaning tablet, as well as descaler. This makes it simple to maintain the machine. This is a fantastic machine for those looking for a high-quality and versatile bean to cup machine that's priced at a reasonable price.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is a powerful espresso machine that uses artificial intelligence to create the best specialty coffees. It learns your preferences and rearranges the coffee menus to allow you to choose your favorite drinks. It also allows you to select your preferred size of grinding, water temperature, and the amount of foam in your coffee and milk. Its clever cleaning and rinsing programs begin at the push of a button, making day-to-day maintenance of your coffee maker simpler than ever before.
One of the unique features of the Giga 6 is that it comes with two coffee and milk spouts, meaning it can make two coffee specialties at once. The dual fluid and heating system within the machine makes this possible. The spouts are adjustable for length and width to fit different cups. There is also a spout which can be used to make iced coffee or tea using hot water.
The Giga 6 comes with a unique feature: you can duplicate and customize your favourite coffees. This is particularly beneficial when you drink the same coffee machines that use beans in the morning and evening. For instance, you could make a flat white using regular beans and then a duplicate using decaf. You can also alter the ingredients, for example, the type of milk or the amount of sugar or cocoa.
Both the Giga6 and Z10 offer a wide range of options for customization. You can pick from a variety of specialty drinks with just a touch. You can also alter the strength of coffee and select from 10 different levels for milk foam.

The GIGA 6 has one downside: some users have complained about the drip tray's leakage. If you encounter this problem make sure you contact the customer service team as soon as possible.
