Nespresso Coffee Machines
The Essenza Mini is a great option if you're looking to make your favorite coffee drinks at home but don't have much counter space. It's the smallest espresso machine that still produces great tasting espresso.
All Nespresso machines require periodic descaling, which eliminates internal mineral buildup. You'll be notified when it's descale time and they're generally easy to clean.
1. OriginalLine
OriginalLine is the Nespresso's most popular line of machines that use their sealed pods that are hermetically sealed. These machines are affordable and can make espresso and coffee. They also offer a greater variety of drinks and capsules than VertuoLine. However, if you prefer larger drinks, you'll want to choose the VertuoLine line instead.
The VertuoLine is a newer line that makes use of more advanced techniques and specifications. It delivers better performance than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider range of brew sizes including 0.85 ounces of ristretto and 1.35 ounces for double espresso. They also offer a speedier process called centrifusion, which rotates the pods at 7,000 RPM, allowing more water to pass through for better extraction.
VertuoLine along with improving technology has also increased the number of capsules that are reusable and introduced an environmentally friendly packaging system. They now use 80percent recycled aluminum for their cheap coffee machines capsules and they are determined to increase the amount of recycled and low carbon virgin aluminum in their future products.
The Lattissima Pro is one of the most efficient nespresso coffee machines available. It features a quick heat-up time, and an LCD display that can be customized settings. It also has the ability to steam effectively to create a cafe-quality foam and milk texture. The machine might not be as compact as other nespresso machines but it is easy to clean and comes with an ejectable capsule.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline is a brand new version of the Nespresso lineup. It is the only machine that can make espresso as well as coffee machine industrial. It comes with a built-in frother for milk. This is an excellent option for those who love various black drinks but don't need to make them separately.
Vertuoline machines utilize a different pod system than the OriginalLine line. The pods have customized barcodes on the exterior rim that the machines read to determine what size of beverage they're creating (ristretto or lungo cappuccino) and automatically add the proper amount of water. This eliminates the need for a separate milk container and makes it much simpler to make the perfect cup of espresso or portable coffee machine.
In terms of quality In terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines produce a crema that's more like the dense foam you get at a traditional cafe as opposed to the lighter Crema that is found in the OriginalLine machines. However, the OriginalLine machines still offer the best coffee machine taste since they generate 19 bars of pressure, which allows them to better extract flavor from grounds of espresso.
The latest VertuoLine machines also use the process known as Centrifusion to spin the capsules more quickly and more evenly than Original Line machines. This improves the speed at which the water gets infused and improves the overall quality of the drink. It also allows the Vertuoline machines use less heat, which reduces extraction time and boosts the strength of espresso.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine makes an excellent option for those with a little space or a budget. It has a smaller tank and capsule container, but has 19 bars of pressure. This is more than enough to produce the espressos and coffees that the majority of people purchase Nespresso for.
It is minimalist with a black design, and the top button controls all functions, from turning on to cleaning and brewing. This is a common feature of Nespresso machines and makes them easy to learn and operate.
This model also includes a jug to create drinks using foam. The machine has 11 different settings for milk temperature that allow you to alter the taste of your coffee, latte, or lattes. It also makes both longer and shorter cappuccinos and latte.
The model comes with buttons that are labeled to make it easy to choose beverages. The base of the capsule holder also has raised squares for controlling the amount of pressure that is applied to each pod to create the size you want. This lets you regulate the amount of pressure that is applied to each pod and also makes it easier to determine when the machine needs to descale. The machine can also be used with other brands' Nespresso compatible capsules, including those from Dualit.
4. Creatista
If you're seeking an Nespresso machine capable of making milk-based drinks and espresso, this is the model for you. Breville (known in Europe as Sage) is the producer of this newest version of Nespresso Creatista. It's an alliance between two of the industry's biggest names - Heston Blumenthal's Sage produces the machine, and Breville designed its powerful thermocoil heating system.
The most exciting aspect of the brand new Creatista is its automatic steam and the frothing system. Simply place your milk pitcher over the temperature sensor below the wand, and the machine will do the work for you. It has 11 settings which allow you to alter the texture of your milk. You can also manually froth your milk if you prefer the traditional method.
The Creatista's quick heat-up is another great feature. It can reach temperature in 3 seconds, which makes it more efficient than other Nespresso machines. The machine's design is elegant and stylish, with a stainless steel body with brushed finish that looks stunning on any countertop. The high-resolution display makes it easy to use navigation for setting, preparing, and maintaining the machine. The machine is available in four colors including black truffle (pictured) sea salt (pictured) damson blue (pictured), and stainless steel. The Creatista measures 6.7 x 15 12 inches (WxDxH). The OriginalLine is the smallest Nespresso machine, which means it can be placed on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This elegant espresso maker from Nespresso takes up less counter space than similar models. It comes with a foldable tray that can fit larger mugs and glasses for making recipes. This is a great feature for kitchens with smaller spaces, and makes it easier to use the machine when using larger recipes. It's also easy to recreate café favorites due to the 19 bar extraction system and the quick heat-up time.
The basic CitiZ does not include a milk frother, but you can purchase one separately or get it as part of the CitiZ&Milk bundle. This bundle also includes the Aeroccino milk-steamer, which means you can create creamy lattes and cappuccinos. You can also make use of capsules that are reusable in this model, but they're not included.
It comes with a large 1 liter water tank, as well as a capsule container that can hold nine to 11 capsules. Contrary to the Pixie model, it doesn't automatically eject used capsules after making them; you have to raise and lower the holder to let the capsules out.
The machine is simple to operate and the sleek design makes it easy to clean. The model also has the option of descaling, however there's no dedicated indicator or button and the process isn't very intuitive. Nespresso recommends using its own descaling system and then running it through after 300 to 1,200 cups depending on how hard your water is. The drip tray and water tank can be removed for easy cleaning.
6. Gran Lattissima
Gran Lattissima espresso and milk machine is a top-quality, single-serve espresso machine. It has a premium modern design with matte and glossy finishes, stainless steel accents and a touch-screen. It is able to make a broad range of Coffee Machine pro and milk drinks with the push of a single button, including Ristretto Espresso, Lungo Cappuccino Latte Macchiato Cafe Latte Flat White Foamed Milk and Hot Milk. It's compatible with OriginalLine and third-party Nespresso pods (doesn't work with VertuoLine, Starbucks by Nespresso or Starbucks by Nespresso).
One of the key distinctions between this model and the earlier Lattissima Touch is that the version has 9 drink presets, and only two of them are milk based drinks. It does not offer the option of choosing your preferred milk texture for a particular recipe, however, you can do so on the Lattissima Pro.
The model also comes with a reusable and washable milk container, so you don't have to fret about obtaining fresh milk or purchasing a separate appliance just for the machine. The container is easy to clean, and it can be filled with water and emptied into the sink in a matter of seconds.
Another wonderful characteristic of the Gran Lattissima is its energy-saving function and fast heat-up time. It has a large 44 oz water reservoir, and it takes only 25 seconds to warm up. The drip tray and froth container can be easily removed to clean. It's also easy to keep your machine in good condition with regular descaling cycles as well as automatic cleaning cycles.
