Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that allows you to save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop consumes.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.
It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find but its price and ongoing maintenance would make it more a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum with mop vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner best that offers many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot vacuum cleaner best's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.
Like the other Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot vacuums that mop make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
