Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot hoover and mop vacuums and mops in my tests are top-quality in navigation and mapping and are able to pick up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with many other smart features, including a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. You can even make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops but is priced at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.
It's worth noting that the mapping process takes some time, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels and had to flip over to free itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without needing the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without crashing. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and didn't always remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office tidy. It can also reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area and knows which areas to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to save time. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to take care of tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains a little quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum cleaner reviews mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller areas. It's quiet and quick, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and not connected to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
